Expert Advice

Since our first designs 50 years ago, Lowe Alpine has been focused on providing backpacks that inspire people to seek out adventure in the mountains.  All of our packs are functional, tough and comfortable to carry, but getting the right bag for the job is still important.

With that in mind we've put together our expert advice section. In this guide to backpacks you'll find useful advice on choosing a backpack like how to measure your back-length, what makes our women's specific backpacks different and which of our ranges best fits your plans.

We've also got you covered once your new pack arrives, with guides on how to adjust your new backpack, how to adjust our different back systems and even the best way to pack for your next adventure. The only problem you will have is deciding where to go with your new pack, (lucky for you, we’ve got that covered as well).
